Busy Beavers Workshop

Hello!

If you’re reading this, it’s because you’ve expressed interest in volunteering with us at ARTS. The Busy Beavers workshop will be held Friday, October 9th at Matthews Elementary from 1PM to 2:15PM. Volunteers are expected to be there by 12:45PM to check in with the front office.

Mindy Mann will be leading this workshop. You can contact her at 205-861-8288 with any questions.

Busy Beavers involves creating a Dam inside of a shoebox or storage box, using popsicle sticks, dirt, water, clay, and rocks. Students will work in teams of 5 to create their dam. At the end of the experiment, we will pour water into one side of the box to see if their dam works. Please fill out the following form if you’d like to volunteer!
